Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the most relatable of human experiences. Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Contact, Back to the Future) directs from a screenplay by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Killers of the Flower Moon, Dune, A Star is Born) and him. Told much in the style of the acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire on which it is based, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter and life, all of which happen right Here.

Cool film concept don’t trust hanks tho

  2. @TO-dh3ib says:

People still watch this creep? Maybe Polanski is your cup of tea too. "Who cares who they hurt, I enjoy their movies."

  3. Powerful trailer

  4. Haven’t seen this yet but I’m guessing there’s not a dry in the audience at any theater showing this. Probably guaranteed with a line like “this was our home, we lived here” in the trailer, along with Tom Hanks being in this.

  5. Complete waste of money and lazy

  6. @exert2020 says:

It's good. But isn't this just the entire movie?

  7. Me too. But I won't. I don't want to.

  8. @JJ-ze6vb says:

The concept for this movie was done brilliantly already in a graphic novel: Here by Richard McGuire

  9. Liked this better when Green Day and The Ramones did it in music videos.

  10. What's funny about this is, even though the de-aging looks a lot better than other uses of it in films in the past, in 20 years, maybe even 10, they're gonna look back at this and it'll look old and primitive lol which is probably partially why James Cameron waited 100 years to make the Avatar films lol

  11. Living your entire life in one place… sounds like a fucking nightmare

  12. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Not a kids movie. About life, love, family, change, history, challenges, etc. Just excellent. Bring your hankies and tissue

  13. 14 August 2025

  14. Spoiler alert: they don’t include everything from the trailer in the movie

  15. The beginning with the dinosaur age was really cool

  16. I’m looking forward to seeing this film. I live in a 105 year old home and, recently, after 25 years here, decided to leave. I’ve laid in bed a few times thinking about the souls who have passed through and, soon, I will be one of them. Sadly, because of the neighborhood changes, this old girl will most likely be torn down. She ‘s a small, one-story bungalow in a sea of three story mcmansions.

We all live, we all die.

    Enjoy your pass through. ❤

  17. The best part is the soundtrack by…YES!!

  18. I went to see this movie in theaters with my mom last Saturday

  19. This is just a boomer victory lap. They forgot to show the part where the last permanent owners of the home are some rental company that could care less what happens to the community around that house

  20. Saw it tonight, I loved it

  21. I watched it at the movies. It was okay. Great movie scenes, can get lost in the story at times. The ending was cool though.

  22. @aof13 says:

    TRUMP ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  23. Major bomb further proof Hanks’ career is over

  24. Saw this movie last week and thought it was one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen! Thank you to everyone who made it for us all!❤

  25. Glad to see this movie tanking, praise God.

  26. Tom Hanks and other rich celebrities have many houses and buy and sell frequently. Do you really think they would spend any time in that crappy little house.

  27. 1:25 That shirt was from Forrest Gump

  28. Where's Gary Sinise??!! Either way, EXCITED.

  29. @destovi1 says:

Just saw it: What a Majestic Movie!!!

  30. I had to wait for people around me to leave the theatre and wear my shades out to my van… Nough said. Oscar worthy

  31. One of the best movie ever.
    Jai hind, vande Mataram

  32. Hollywood setting the standards forever and ever!❤

  33. "An explorer of time, charting a course that can only be travelled once." So well put.

  34. @TobinHolz says:

The first ten minutes of UP is now a full length feature film staring Tom Hanks. Here
If you've seen the trailer, why bother with the whole movie 😉

  35. From the mind that brought you Polar Express, and Mars Needs Moms.

  36. @noneone2u says:

Oddly, Tom Hanks recently posted his good-bye to his country on X because he didn't like the outcome of the election. He is no longer in his Here. Bizarre timing.

  37. @rc653 says:

Wait. Wouldn't this be like a sitcom, too? Somewhat reminds me of Friends.

  38. One of the best released in some time ❤️

  39. I watched this in AMC and after it, i had to run to the restroom. I cried so much for real… bring a tissue before u go

  40. Box office bomb. Weirdo elites deserve it

  41. Jenny better not mess with my boy Forrest a second time.

Joke aside the graphic novel was amazing. I can't wait to watch the movie.

  42. @nicoquet says:

    actually I love this idea

  43. You know who taught me how to love other people in real life? Who really taught me?

The entire career of Tom Hanks while my parents were at work. He leads by example. His career choices. His management choices. His brand. Thank God his calling was to act. He inspires callings and castings. He was raising me in his brand image, too. (Don't believe me? Ask me about my weiner. I triple dog dare you. This is America.) That's a lot of pressure. That's raising other people's kids like Dr. Huxtable did. And that guy introduced me to James Brown. Huge responsibility to raise kids through the screen. I'll wear his sweater because I have soul, too, as a thank you. Imagine what I'd do as a thank you to Tom Hanks for raising me to know the difference between good and evil and to fight with love? Fight with soul? Fight with unquestionable conviction in my eyes?

In a Battle for the Heart and Soul of America, the only actor that could be credibly cast as President is Tom Hanks.

The only way to get an American National Treasure more valuable than Tom Hanks is if we greenlight Mitt Romney and Pete Buttigieg as a Freemason Christmas miracle to the electors and their collective conscience.

  44. Music by Yes: APPROVED.

  45. "Here we live in time"

  46. Bad, bad, bad, absolutely terrible…… like watching paint dry.

  47. @RGC04 says:

Tom Hank's effects could do a lot more adjustment

  48. 0:40 what i hear – "He is Captured… YEEEEEEs… Diddy diddy diddy diddy"

  49. Just… Mind-blowing! Can't wait to see this

  50. This was AMAZING. Course, look at my name Mr. Zemeckis. 😉

  51. This is forest gump two they knew what they were doing they flipped it u know this was the following

  52. @Pdclip245 says:

    Looks very dumb

  53. Can't stand tom hanks

  54. Don't watch movies staring pedophiles.

  55. Tom Island Hanks is throwing a PDiddy party.

  56. @Rico0333 says:

Is this movie about a room?

  57. I'm so glad it flopped

  58. A generation of families that lived in this house shared memories and moved. If you can picture where you grew up and visualize your memories and the memories other families made and are making in that same house, that is what the movie portrays.

  59. This would be the first time I got all choked up over a movie trailer. Wow! Outstanding!

  60. A complex, subtle film about the transience and fragility of life. Not everyone will understand. Zemeckis is a Master!

  61. What is this, nobody is interesting in watching a slideshow? another agenda again?

  62. This film will win Oscars for best make up for sure

  63. and i thought that already i have been seen worst movies of this year but HERE you are

  64. @JonCeres says:

Why if they deaging Him, his voice stands older? A New Tom Hanks with aged voice sounds creepy for the role of a youngster Tom.

It makes no sense. Why not deaged the voice too?

  65. @jrallday says:

That house must stink living in the same place that long.

  66. @LAYLOWKC says:

    I loved this movie.

  67. Excellent movie, maybe not for everything. But worth the watch.

  68. @thorax4u says:

They really portray military men as weak and useless in this movie.. this is coming from Tom Hanks.. I guess

  69. I really liked this movie. 10/10

  70. Not a bad movie

  71. Excelent movie!!!!!

  72. @Jhonatt says:

looks interesting. But how the hell did this cost 50millions to make without counting advertising….

  73. I watched the movie totally confused. I had not seen the trailer. It wasn’t until halfway through. I Think it would’ve made more sense to have less families involved. I don’t understand, without re-watching the movie where the black family fit in. It should’ve stuck to just the American Indians first, then the house is built, the one family moves in, then everybody grows older and two teens fall in love and get married. Then, the wife Gets a job, their daughter goes to college, the old old man kicks the bucket, they sell the house yada yada

  74. Depressing beyond all belief.

  75. I cannot watch anything with Tom Hanks in anymore. Knowing what he has been involved in… children FFS! Tick, tick Mr Hanks…tick tock.

  76. I can’t stand this fake CGI stuff

  77. Finally got to see this and imho it was an interesting idea that just DID NOT work on film, at all. Now maybe it was just the production work, idk, but CONSTANTLY bouncing from one scene/time to another, sometimes overlapping them, was just BORING. I will admit that I only made it about 20 minutes in before I shut it off, but then again if a director doesn't know how to get you hooked in the first 15 then that's on him. The acting was good, but nothing memorable stood out, and the ridiculous switch back in time to the Mesozoic Era was silly as there was NOTHING INTERESTING happening back then that we don't already understand, so all in all not worth the time, and THAT is surprising considering the cast, never thought I'd say that about any Tom Hanks film ever, smh.

  78. Best film of the year so far!!!

  79. Is this the first movie that doesn't need a camera man? Or much work from them? =)

  80. The scene where the dad tells his son what do to when pulled over by a White cop is hilarious and yet revolting.
So sick of that false narrative.

  82. I guess this all would of happened if Forrest Gump married Jenny.

  83. THE AI IS CREEPING ME OUT

  84. Tbh this trailer is 1000 times more impactful than the actual movie

  85. Wow! Cant wait to see it. Me and my wife go to estate sales and see someones while life in the contents for sale and every home we go to i stop and look in the living room and think how many Christmases were had in that room. Or birthdays and then i get nostalgic…….

  86. Wow, that was a whole lot of nothing.

  87. @megaguar says:

that is only boomer's and millennial's dream to spend the whole life in one living room
