  3. thank you so much for your textures and tutorials. I just started messing around with photoshop recently to assist in making TTRPG related content (that i do not make a cent from and do just for fun). so it sucks to find so much stuff paywalled. i will never forget your contribution to art and will support you when and how i can.

  21. How do you get so clean binary pattern? I tried copying it but when I apply it, it gets very pixelated and blocky, not so sharp as yours

  22. This is so incredibly cool, it almost feels like coding. Blows my mind!

  23. @emile626 says:

might count as a dumb question, but how do i change the source in the smart object and change the image?

  24. @Rytackle says:

When your Patreon goes away how will we get the files?!

  25. @scop8036 says:

In this same technique theres a way to show and bright the pixel artifacts , but this time making them show the original photo colors, '"NEONizing them" (the original picture colors) the exact same way you "NEONized" the green colors? Thanks!

  26. @JUSTRAGS_ says:

What’s the pixel count on the image?

  36. COULD THE SAME BE APPLIED TO A VIDEO???

  37. This is amazing, man!! Thank you so much for this one! Little tip for anyone that might find this helpful… I imported a video to photoshop and applied all the effects mentioned in this tutorial and if you work with the video layer as a intelligent object you can also replace it just like you do with images, so you can have this same effect as a template for video too!! It looks great!!

  38. sh*t, this is good.

  39. @jrmysrss says:

anyone have any idea how to do something similar to this in GIMP?

  40. Love it thanks!

  41. the last drop shadow step isnt working for me 🙁

  42. i for some reason cannot get the drop shadow effect to work. the "Layer knocks out drop shadow" button doesn't have any effect. any idea where I'm going wrong? it seems like the drop shadow isn't effecting the pattern, but the whole image itself.

For a Photoshop enthusiast like me, watching this tutorial from 3:58 to 4:12 felt like watching a brilliant chess move, or watching Lionel Messi doing a filtered pass. It's so enjoyable coming up with these ideas, pure genius.

  70. Oh, also. This method isnt really suitable for small objects. (I didnt know my picture was that small untill, the pattern just overlayed as one three bars.)

  75. What is the ideal image size to apply this process? Thank you for your amazing contents!

  76. when i do change the scale of the pattern to 30, the pattern seems to loss quality pixelating the edges of the grey rectangles in a irregular way. it also happen thtat makes irregular the soft pattern, so i can only use well this tool in 30 scale that its too big… can someone help me to fix this?
