My Note 8 is still going strong, but apps are slowly becoming unsupported. Crazy how good this phone still is compared to newer budget phones 5+ yrs later.
Thank you for continuing to make these videos! I’m still considering an older Samsung flagship phone since their new phones are so expensive and their trade in values are on the low side. In fact, I have a Samsung S22 Plus in my cart on Amazon that’s renewed. I’m only hesitant to buy it because I bought an S21 FE on there a couple years ago and the call quality on it was awful. I didn’t know if that was the refurbisher being cheap on parts or if the phone itself was a dud.
I just returned S22 ultra. The battery life is so bad if you solely want to use it for camera. I can't even get 8 hour with ultra battery saving modes. Other than that, I really love it.
I'm aiming to get the s22 or s22 plus but i am buying a battery case i prefer to get the s22 or s22 plus because the more feature ai features anfd the cameras
I love my Note 20 ultra. I will never trade it in. I actually traded in my S22 Ultra. The July 2024 update had it constantly restarting. It was awful. I’m lucky they let me trade it in.
$100: Google Pixel 4 $200: iPhone 12 (or S20 FE for Android) $300: Poco X6 Pro $400: Poco X6 Pro $500: OnePlus 12R $600: OnePlus 12R $700: OnePlus 12R (its a really good phone lol) $800: OnePlus 12 (not 12R) $900 (or higher): OnePlus 12
People say the s22 ultra battery sucks but actually I found out ways how to improve it -Use Airplane Mode with Wifi (when you're at the house) (If you are using dual sim, disable one) (Enable sims ONLY when youre going out, doing this will help the phone better understand its priorities) -Use your phone often for a week Ik it may sound stupid but actually using your phone more helps the battery find ways to manage power efficiently and learn your usage pattern Just a month ago when I first got it, my battery was terrible, only until a week ago I started caring less about my battery life, and let the phone do its thing (everything was in default settings) And sure enough, I was able to get 9 hours screen on time yesterday with around 19% left on the phone which was just incredible (don't start charging your phone at 35%-60%, charge it either when it's completely drained or it's 10-20%) You can charge it to 100% but not too often
Note 20 Ultra here. I got mine from Amazon for 330. I was lucky enough to get a "used, like new," condition device from Amazon themselves, as opposed to refurbished. Have an S21U too and I use both.
Thanks for this review. Still using my Note 10+ (I guess the foundation of the Ultra Series camera set up design) only it is much thinner and lighter. Considering the S23/24 Ultra in 6/7 months.
Be careful with the amazon renewed Samsung phones, people replace their screens with non OEM versions. I bought an s10 plus just to try it out and you could easily tell it's on an OEM screen
I wonder how you people buy nice phones just to play games. Always having games on the screen. I still wonder. As if that's the main thing to do with a phone.
bruh I bought a new sealed s22plus for 720dollars last December 2023 mofo still holds its place in the market sealed new, as I don't trust refurbished/used devices. if I plan to upgrade, Id go for the s24 ULTRA, simply because of the flat screen, but not for at least a 3 years period of using this one.
I would argue if you're truly on a budget to take a look at the S20 series, I have the vanilla 4G S20 and honestly I have no issues with it, battery life is solid, cameras are solid, the only gripe is it's now stuck on Android 13 but apps are still supported and the phone is still blazingly fast for a 4 year old device.
I would steer clear of the S22 ultra if you need all day battery life. Even if you use all the adaptive battery settings features blah blah blah you'll be lucky if you can get 9 hours out of the phone. Redeeming feature though has to be those cameras. The pen and the editing software. 3:26
The Note 20 Ultra battery life is really bad (barely lasted me a day with heavy use), but it charges 0-100 in 70 minutes. Whatever you care about more, since the phone is literally a tablet
THANK YOU for this video because I cannot keep up with the damn flagship wars and couldn't care less about AI. I just need a good working phone that's stylish and gets updates for a while. I will absolutely be getting that S22 Plus.
I have been a follower of your Tech reviews for a long time just wanted ask if out of the parked smartphones if you can share one for my content creation.
Avoid the Note20 ultra if u can. Focusing issues. Bad camera experience overall. Horrible selfie camera in low light- like really bad. Battery is average.
Been hearing about a recent update wrecking the screen of the S21 phones with a green vertical line going all the way through it. Can someone give specifics on that and does that render the S21 series one to avoid now?

I just returned S22 ultra. The battery life is so bad if you solely want to use it for camera. I can't even get 8 hour with ultra battery saving modes. Other than that, I really love it.

I love your contents ngl
I love my Note 20 ultra. I will never trade it in. I actually traded in my S22 Ultra. The July 2024 update had it constantly restarting. It was awful. I’m lucky they let me trade it in.
Hey can you help me i really like your vids should i choose a pixel 6 pro new over a xiaomi 13t?

$500: OnePlus 12R
$600: OnePlus 12R
$700: OnePlus 12R (its a really good phone lol)
$800: OnePlus 12 (not 12R)
$900 (or higher): OnePlus 12
S22plus is awesome plus I needed 512 GB. Samsung recertified with new battery one year warranty after my phone trade in was about 600 dollars.
People say the s22 ultra battery sucks but actually I found out ways how to improve it
-Use Airplane Mode with Wifi (when you're at the house) (If you are using dual sim, disable one)
(Enable sims ONLY when youre going out, doing this will help the phone better understand its priorities)
-Use your phone often for a week
Ik it may sound stupid but actually using your phone more helps the battery find ways to manage power efficiently and learn your usage pattern
Just a month ago when I first got it, my battery was terrible, only until a week ago I started caring less about my battery life, and let the phone do its thing (everything was in default settings)

You can charge it to 100% but not too often
So what would yall go with ,S22 Ultra or S23 plus,i have a 23fe and a 22 plus but i wanna grab one of the other ones.
Which is better for a replacement for 13 pro max? S22 ultra or note 20 ultra
Note 20 Ultra here. I got mine from Amazon for 330. I was lucky enough to get a "used, like new," condition device from Amazon themselves, as opposed to refurbished. Have an S21U too and I use both.
Phones may be cheap & there's a reason & that is how many years are left for up dates.
We're is 23 plus?
Refurbished Samsung are not waterproof. Stop d cap.
Thanks for this review.
Still using my Note 10+ (I guess the foundation of the Ultra Series camera set up design) only it is much thinner and lighter. Considering the S23/24 Ultra in 6/7 months.

If my note 20 ultra screen never broke i would never switch to s23 ultra bcs note 20 ultra was fast enough for me
Trying to decide between Note10+ and Note20 Ultra as of late.
I am not kind of trusting the renewed factor, I soo have trust issues ngl.
Thanks for the reviews
buy a redmagic 8 pro its cheap fast and has grt battery
I wonder how you people buy nice phones just to play games. Always having games on the screen. I still wonder. As if that's the main thing to do with a phone.
Green line issue must be include in your review
Dont buy s21 Ultra it has bugs and glitches with 120hz refresh rates and night light
bruh I bought a new sealed s22plus for 720dollars last December 2023
mofo still holds its place in the market sealed new, as I don't trust refurbished/used devices.
if I plan to upgrade, Id go for the s24 ULTRA, simply because of the flat screen, but not for at least a 3 years period of using this one.
i cant afford non of these phones
I would argue if you're truly on a budget to take a look at the S20 series, I have the vanilla 4G S20 and honestly I have no issues with it, battery life is solid, cameras are solid, the only gripe is it's now stuck on Android 13 but apps are still supported and the phone is still blazingly fast for a 4 year old device.
Spent about $380 on a s22 ultra 256gb for my father in law for his birthday.
He's always used the budget Motorola g stylus phones because of the price and they have an integrated stylus.
Hope he likes the new Samsung.
6.6inch is a "sweetspot"??? "Not too big…" Bro wtf can we go back to 5-5.5inch phones please? These 6-6.6inch glass slabs are uncomfortable as fuck.
I would steer clear of the S22 ultra if you need all day battery life. Even if you use all the adaptive battery settings features blah blah blah you'll be lucky if you can get 9 hours out of the phone.
Redeeming feature though has to be those cameras. The pen and the editing software. 3:26
Got the s23 as my second phone and s24 ultra as main phone
S22 ultra has the worst battery and overheats alot. Atleast the 2 s22 ultras i had
The Note 20 Ultra battery life is really bad (barely lasted me a day with heavy use), but it charges 0-100 in 70 minutes. Whatever you care about more, since the phone is literally a tablet

No sd card not a buy. No sd card and no jack not even worth talking about
I've been a flap ship guy for years now, to future proof myself. Using an s22 ultra with no upgrade of need in sight.
However, phone have gotten so good recently I think my next upgrade will be a lower end value phone like the FE or a flag ship that's used.
The need for the next best miniscule upgrade is a thing of the past.
Should i get the note 20u or s21u i currently have the s9plus need to upgrade need help choosing
15:10 The S21 FE recently got an update, and now has circle to search
If you livei in Europe Why buy Samsung in 6 nm MediaTek chip in 2025 ???? Goodbye Samsung.
gonna buy s21 ultra soon
Note 20 ultra in bronze is just gorgeous…no better looking phone in my opinion
Im getting the s22 ultra for codm
Where did you get the dragon ball z screen
im getting the s21fe in a few days
My S10 died last week, served me for 6 yrs
Avoid the Note20 ultra if u can. Focusing issues. Bad camera experience overall. Horrible selfie camera in low light- like really bad. Battery is average.
The s21 Ultra is still a fantastic phone in 2024
S21 fe heats up when scrolling instagram reels and while playing call of duty and roblox
hello iam currently using the rog phone 2 and i want to upgrade old samsung flagship device what would be your recommendation
Been hearing about a recent update wrecking the screen of the S21 phones with a green vertical line going all the way through it. Can someone give specifics on that and does that render the S21 series one to avoid now?
Shit the S24 ultra is niice as hell, especially for gaming..battery could be a little bit better with longer life!!
Does s22 ultra's Battery can give me around 5 hours of gaming????
S21 ultra vs S22+ which one to get?
Why amazon sell this s22 ultra lower price??
I bought a second hand samsung a30 last year. Now it has 3 lines on the screen. Would Higher end samsungs also have lines?
Im comparing the s21 FE 5g vs Oneplus nord n30 5g, so hard to decide, my s21 smal battery is bad.
