I am using samsung m05 Core..smallest smartphone ?cost less than 100 usd
if you ask me the ideal folding phone has to be really tiny when folded and tablet size when unfolded, a shame this doesn't seem to be in any manufacturers radar
everyone loved it so it didnt sell. Well i guess everyone didnt fucking love it.
I loved my Mini 12. I only recently got rid of it (just gave it to my gf) in favor of the razr+ 2024, which I mainly use the small screen on.
I wish we still had sd cards in our phones
Companies did it with prices, not consumers.
Honestly my brother was quite salty. He just praised ASUS after getting zenfone 10 last year. This year he's cursing ASUS for making just regular phone. So personally I think ASUS might lose their core audience
Fine with me I love big phones that are small tablets
i just want to be able to use my phone with one hand comfortably. Exactly 6" would probably be perfect, maybe a little under
S23 and 24 are way better than this
I have mi 10t pro and rog 3 , big and heavy as fk , cant watch content for longer durations
They only made sense for people with really small hands.
I get girls getting big phones but guys? Unless you like walking around with a purse or cargo pants it’s not practical
I love small phones.
I was rummagins through my old stuff and found my first Xiaomi phone – Mi4C. It had 5" which was PERFECT, it was slim, nice and if it had NFC – I would still be using it.
I do not see even a single reason of upgrading my phone in modern day and time. Last one I purchased was 2021 XIaomi 11 Lite and it have everything, good screen, NFC, high refresh rate, good camera. Why change? What is there so I need new "bettah" phone? Mobile games? They are shit, all of them =)
I can totally understand the love for smaller more compact phones, but as someone who is 6'3" and has quite large hands the 6.7-6.8" range is absolutely perfect for me and I wouldn't want it any larger. I started with the galaxy's and then fell in love with the note phone which was the first phone I actually felt comfortable typing on and adored the stylus but once they stopped the note I ended up switching to OnePlus and never have looked back though certain other phones occasionally catch my eye. But I actually dont understand how people with smaller hands would want a flagship sized phone. I get enjoying a large screen and what not but for me comfortably holding the phone in one hand my thumb can reach from the bottom of the screen to the top but wouldn't be able to much more than maybe 3/16" max. I couldn't imagine having one as a 5'1" woman it just seems like it would be ridiculously large for someone like that. My mom is actually fairly tall at 5'9" and she uses iphones but will only get the base model because she hates the larger phones. Though I think most consumers just equate bigger to better which is the driving reason.
I use a Pixel 5 to replace my Samsung A12 as a daily driver. The 6 inch screen on the pixel is the perfect size maximum for me and it made me realize how much I really need one handness of a 'hand'phone rather than anything bigger than a 6 inch screen.
i only buy small phones, Frick all of you nerds for buying big phones
eheeeem ….. Xiaomi 13/14????
For me 6 inch is perfect for a phone. 6.7 is too big but only the big ones get features like the Tele lens and that is frustrating.
I have a12 mini and I swear I will use it until I get another smaller phone for my small hands
I like big screens, so small phones arent for me. We're so used to big screens that we dont even notice we're holding one most of the time, like probably right now if we're viewing on a phone.
However, i know very well there's a good market for small phones, even if it doesn't seem like it. Plus the advantages of having a smaller sized phone
Neitzche inspired title
I’ve been waiting for a pro mini phone from apple. There are certain features that should not be sacrificed i.e the better camera system. that’s the only thing that tipped me towards the pro rather than the mini.
what phone to get if you want a smaller phone, wireless charging and ideally sd card or huge storage?
Man, I had a pixel 4A abd I just upgraded to the 9 pro and I MISS MY 4A SO MUCH
Im still using 5.5inch phone Nokia c02. Light and easy to use. I can buy bigger size phone but i wont. 6 inch below is the best for my hand and its become rare nowadays. So sad the trend kills the smaller phone
Me personally love small phone , my last 4 phones I brought only for they were small. at present I use Iphone 13 mini, but sadly apply cut their mini segment .
i'll die with iphone 12 mini forever.
Sure I'd love to buy a smaller screen phone but none of them are a complete package. The Zenfone 10 does only 30W charging while smaller Samsung and Apple phones have similar speed but the charger is not even included. My 400$ phone does 67W with the included charger but unfortunately the downside is that it has 6.7 inch screen, it was something that I learned to accept and by now I'm used to it.
Realistically, if I am paying above 500$, I would want a bigger screen and battery.
im glad because no one wants to pay more for a smaller phone they feel like its a rip off and would rather justify a more expensive larger one for maybe 200+ vs the small ones
13 mini is still dope
That quote like something Nietzsche said, but for content creation purpose
The vivo x200 pro mini just released though.
thats why i buy samsung lol. 6 inch.
All Apple needs to do is release a 17 Pro Mini, with as much tech they can shove into a 12 Mini's size today, and a regular 17 Mini alongside.
I'm 100% sure it'll sell, if priced correctly and offered in all kinds of crazy durable colors.
after the dawn of the mobile phone, phones got smaller and smaller, then there was porn on the internet and the phones got excited
We dint kill the small phones. The small are ridiculously pricey. Which killed them.
I have the s10e as a compact flagship phone. It's doing great job and i mind keep it at least 3 years.
for people claiming that their small phones are a rare breed and they'll keep them forever, i just have one word for you:
BATTERY!
Damn Samsung and Apple, Samsung is the one that started the trend of ridiculously large screens, and Apple is the one that kicked off the trend of multi-zone induction cooktop cameras.
My SE2 is great. Just hate the new SE is going to be monster sized
i need a iphone 4 size small phone, my hands are so smol i anything larger is a tablet.
BB torch best phone ever.
Watching this on the Galaxy S23. Blessed to have a small phone that works well.
Iphone 13 Mini, best Iphone ever! (imo) Wish they make a bit smaller phones again sometime in the future with usb-C
Uniherzt Jelly Star and Jelly Max? 🙂
Nice video. When ever I see a small phone for sale, the width of the phone is always less than the width of the 6 inch phones. I dont want a smaller width, because it's too hard to type with my large thumbs and fingers. I want a smaller length only. The length only needs to be a wide as a YouTube video. So is there not a phone for my case? I'm really surprised how uncommon small phones are available for sale in South East Asia where people are generally smaller than in other parts of the world.
I have really large hands and downsized from the galaxy fe series to the s series. It's much better and my pockets wear out much slower aswell
I would love to buy an iPhone pro mini
literally first thing i look at when looking for new phone is screen size. if its over 6.5" i move on
Apple please! You're worth $3000B! Throw the damn mini in the line-up!!!
Just got the Z Flip 6. The screen is still a bit too tall when it's folded open but it's narrow and easy to hold and operate with one hand and super easy to pocket when closed. Flip phones are now the best option for us small-phone-lovers imo.
I have the Android Palm, and it gets LOTS of positive attention from others. No need to upgrade when it does all I need it for, including several apps. Note, also. that many individuals including youth are moving away from constantly using phones for social media and gaming. Watch the market change back to smaller phones.
I just stick to mid range phones. I've honestly had the thought to get a dumbphone because I really use my phone for YouTube eBay and as a camera. And being big is just a pain in the ass
Still rocking a Pixel 5.
Still using my 12 mini, just changed the battery and its good to go for some more years probably.. however next time i would get one with a bigger screen. It is just better to use.
Still using my iPhone 7 & still luv it
Ill pay more for a smaller phone.
I still use my iPhone 12 mini
I mean, Sony still makes phones right
MKBHD is totally biased on this because he talks about small "flagship phones" that don't sell. The thing is that people want small phones but not to pay $ £ € 800 for them. How come Apple could not refresh the 2016 iPhone SE 2016 with better internals and instead chose to refresh the iPhone 6 as an SE. How come nobody on the Google's Android doesn't come up with a small phone? Basically between 5.9 iches and 3.5 inches there is a huge gap in the market that nobody wants to fill with a product. It's impossible that people don't want to buy phones of a smaller size. It is rather the companies Google and Apple which are form the dominant cartel in mobile operating system that don't want you to use your phone as a tool but rather consume media on your devices / screen time. This is why they push large screens. It's a lie that people don't want small phones.
I want a 13 mini so bad. I wish I could still buy one new :C
"god is dead and we have killed him"
I'm a PC person. I have no need for a large phone screen. I'd rather have a one-handable phone. It's so useful when you're out and about.
That's why I can't buy a phone for over two years – still searching for a small one that will fit into the pocket, and does not feel like a tablet
The way I think it should work is you have your ultra and Pro Max phones be the huge ones then you have your pros and pluses be regular sized and then the base model is a mini phone.
That's why I still use my Sony X10 Mini. I'd love to have a phone that fits in my pocket.
New phones seems to be a confused bunch – they're starting to look like mini tablets.
apple doesnt understand that they can still sell small flagship phones, because that user demographic isnt participating in surveys
i need small. not flagship. i cant afford all small smartphone.
My phone don't need to be bigger than a 6.2 inch touch screen that's just the way it is not everybody on Earth has hands the size of Shaquille freaking Neil if I can't use the phone with one hand I don't want the sucker
at 6`6 I am all for big phones.
my dad loves small flagship phones ,its really sad to see this dead
sad times. No more premium physical keyboard phones, no more flagship in small form factor. I might have to get the motorolla flip , for my pocket..
The s20+ was fire lol
So is the 16pro
I have big hands but still loves small phones
Big phone are good but me its irritating
Really sorry if anyone herted
6.1-6.3 the original size of small computer
Asus Zenfone never came to India i wanted this but never showed up
the mini phone sold less because all the good features were on the bigger. probably if they had done a mini pro porobably qould have gone better
Really sad that apple killed mini series after 13 mini
Now I finally know which phone to buy. Its going to be the Zenfone
5 inches is enough
I actually find my 6'7 screen too big for a comfortable use, I'd rather go for something a bit smaller
WE
Is craaazy, ive always had smaller phones…except this one…
I came across this video by chance and since I like small phones, I’ll write my opinion, even if the video is outdated.
Most often, a small phone should be small (5+ inches is already big) and thin (more than 8 mm is already a lot) and made of good materials. Unfortunately, such dimensions cannot accommodate what manufacturers want – a refrigerator, a car, a microwave, a super computer and a charging station. And all this should be inside the flagship. And if there is no extra shit inside the phone, then it’s difficult to try to sell it. Because the other phone has it all.
I keep hoping that there will be some Chinese company that can make a small phone without unnecessary crap, but beautiful design and made from good materials. So that it calls and can launch modern text managers. For many people, this is enough. The phone should ring, and not be a 20-inch refrigerator.
I bought it the zenphone 10 for £550 ,i loved it but the huge problem i had was the brightness.. I could not see the screen on holiday , I couldn’t see what’s happening to the phone during the summer away to low screen brightness.. I hate it to sell it , I upgraded to xiaomi 14 .. amazing phone.. also have iPhone 16pro which is top notch..
compact smartphones are alive, thanks to samsung
I bought one of the last few Zenfone 10s you can find these days. Gonna run it til can't run at all anymore. Once it dies, I think that'll just be the Universe telling me to give up the internet, make a cabin in the woods and live off grid til the world burns.
