  3. that was the charm of the 70s

  4. that. was. AWESOME ! loved every single – wow – so much packed into so little time. the 60s (& 70s) vibe was perfection. incidentally captures my dreaming (& at present waking) world to perfection – no 'dope' required. just cosmic echos & reflections.

  5. @BMVfilms says:

It's VERY Wes Anderson in the best way.

  6. You had me at the U.F.O music. Sent me automatically back 50 years ago to my parents house in front of the TV. Fantastic story! ❤

Great short but I hate when credits are shoved off to the side to make way for advertising or the next video.

  10. Quirky and visually gorgeous. Well done!

Well done. Love the retro theme.

  12. Impressive Art Direction. Not to mention the prop sourcing / construction. Over all an outstanding production.

  28. Thanks for this cosmic trip. I just had one watching this video. I hope there are more episodes to watch. Cheers from Acapulco!

  29. This is a totally successful send up. Kudos to your props team for securing all these wonderful 1950s and 1960s equipment and furniture props. So frickin' believable and visually stunning.

  30. @NicleT says:

Hey Dust, why don't you put the credits in the description? You always shrink the video at the end and it's quite impossible to read the credits.

  31. @mrx1333 says:

That was awesome! Great short video!

  32. @Kreezxil says:

This gave me a strong Legion on FX vibe. And if it were a television series I would tune into it and watch it.

  33. Hoffman's potion… LSD

  34. Wes Anderson if he wasn't just an Anglophile… I likes it.

  35. Haha this was fun & entertaining but still thought provoking with a lot of symbolism! One of my favorite DUST shorts!

  36. Ending music title comes from the Polish comedy movie "I hate monday" from 1971.

  37. Wasn't that music the same as the old series Space 1999?

  38. Groovy vibe, wish the ending had more to it.

  39. I admire your style!

  40. You twats! That's 4 minutes of my brain time wasted!

  41. Loved this. Reminded me of educational science films of the sixties, and seventies. Spoken with utmost sincerity. Thanks for nostalgic humour. Congratulations to all involved.

  42. A mind-bending journey into the unknown, where science, plants, and psychedelics collide in a surreal quest for consciousness beyond the ordinary.

A trippy fusion of 1960s sci-fi and psychedelic exploration, this short film delves into the boundaries of science and consciousness. In a quirky lab filled with vintage equipment and exotic plants, a group of scientists embarks on an experiment to unlock the hidden powers of mind-altering substances. As they mix plants and lysergic compounds, their perception of reality begins to unravel, leading them into a surreal world where nature and the mind intertwine. With vivid, kaleidoscopic visuals and a mysterious, unsettling atmosphere, the film raises questions about the ethics of experimentation, the dangers of unchecked curiosity, and the mysterious sentience of nature itself.

  43. Utterly whimsical and quite delightful, a wonderful way to fill 4 minutes and 2 seconds, thankyou.

  48. Very good. Reminiscent in style of Wes Anderson.

  49. @MSHNKTRL says:

This answers the question: "What if Altered States was hip and groovy?"

  64. Short, sweet, and a nostalgically wicked ending!

  65. Theme from ufo
